    <p>A boundary error in the "encrypt_keyid()" function in
      appl/telnet/libtelnet/encrypt.c of the telnet daemon and client could
      cause a buffer overflow.

      with the privileges of the user running the telnet daemon or client, or
      cause Denial of Service.
